Road Race Motorsports wanted to share the Silver State Challenge car we just prepared for Driver Elia Popov. Elia bought this fully caged camera car from producers in Hollywood who used it to film chase scenes from such movies as “Duke of Hazzard”, “Borne Identity”, “Mission Impossible” and many more. Road Race converted the car to a safe and fast Silver State entry that will run in the 150 mph class this event. Changes included, new coilover suspension, race brakes, lightly tuned engine and a lot of other miscellaneous jobs.  The car does not look like much, but it is a one time event car since we will be building Elia Popov and 200 mph entrant for the next event. Road Race is proud to highlight one of our customers, Jeff Tooth. Jeff is a pro and chooses Road Race Motorsports to help build his engine.
Here he is at Oregon Trail Rally. Jeff was in the lead in Production Class when he lost a wheel that broke on Stage. The Mitsubishi Lancer finished the rally but lost out on the top spot. RRM wants to congratulate Jeff Tooth and his team for the noble effort. Better luck next time, Jeff.

It has been a long while since we just gave an update on what is happening at Road Race. Things are moving at a fast pace here. Where to start. Since SEMA we have been non stop building an Ultra 4 Race Jeep for King of the Hammers. It was the shortest of time frames to build but we managed to complete it and it made it out to KOH. In the “Every Man Challenge”, the car was leading the Race Overall until an alternator gave out and the battery would no longer let the engine run. All and all what impressed everyone out there was the high level of workmanship that went into the car, even though there was impossibly short time for us to get it built.
In the meantime, FIAT 500 is a car that we have truly mastered with regards to performance. We have new products for the 500 so please check out our website. There are more to come too. Every one of our customers are raving about our products and we love the way that makes us feel.
From here we have not forgotten the Suzuki guys. Our turbo kit for the 2010+ model Sx4s is just about done. We have someone who stepped up for one and that will allow us to finish it up. Suzuki guys should get ready. It is an exciting time at ROAD/RACE. Stay tuned!
