The Road Race Stage 1 system is a perfect entry level purchase for customers looking to get the best bang for the buck. This kit includes our newest version intake for the lancer and fits both the Manual and the CVT. This system include all parts to replace your stock components, is install friendly and includes instructions. This intake is made from aircraft grade aluminum and has a CNC machined MAF sensor holder, for a precise MAF sensor fit and seal. It also features a larger than stock filter for max air flow and performance, and an aluminum heat shield to help prevent heat soak.This system utilizes an industry leading K&N high flow filter for maximum performance and filtration. The proper filter will help improve throttle response and fuel economy. K&N filters are lab and real world tested to ensure top notch quality. The filter can last up to 50,000 miles before cleaning is required. When paired with the RRM pulley this kit gives a big improvement in throttle response and acceleration. More importantly, the Stage 1 Power Pack greatly reduces the "dead spot" in acceleration and RPM float that stock CVT customers often complain about. The pulley is made of aircraft grade aluminum and weighs just .5 lbs.compared to the stock 4 lbs.+ pulley. We have incorporated a hardened steel sleeve around the pulley hub to prevent leaks and increase longevity. This pulley makes power by reducing the parasitic drag on the crankshaft and our research has shown that you gain 2.7 HP for every pound of weight reduced from the crankshaft.
